Registering for classes is a bitch

Today I tried picking what I'm going to take for Fall. The great thing about the GSB is that you have 100% academic freedom to do what you want. You often hear that the Nobel Laureates on our campus changed their fields with ideas that were born by burning new mental paths, not traveling beaten ones. However, the awful thing about the GSB is that sometimes you're just not good at this, all the freakin' time. I don't know what to pick, I don't understand the convoluted class bidding system that is the ugly spawn of the GSB's love of free markets, and I just want it to be Wednesday already (when bidding ends and I can stop bitching). I wish I had bought more stuff on eBay.
